MSD Switzerland Appoints Jasper Kunow as Interim Managing Director
Lucerne, Switzerland — October 31, 2025 — MSD Merck Sharp Dohme AG (known as Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA in the United States) today announced the appointment of Jasper Kunow as Interim Managing Director, effective November 1, 2025. Mr. Kunow will succeed Dimitri Gitas, who will be pursuing a new professional opportunity outside of MSD.
This interim appointment underscores MSD’s commitment to ensure a seamless transition period. Mr. Kunow will assume this role in addition to his current responsibilities as Managing Director for Portugal and Central-Europe sub-region and will be supported by MSD Switzerland’s experienced management team. The search for a permanent successor is underway, with an announcement to follow in due course.
