eNewsletter

Registration is a prerequisite of the use of the e-newsletter. Registration is restricted to medical professionals with a professional practice licence in Switzerland. By registering for the e-newsletter, the user confirms that they are a medical professional registered in Switzerland. MSD may review the data by appropriate means and is entitled to refuse registration without specifying reasons as to why.

The MSD e-newsletter contains information from specific fields and other current information in the field of healthcare, for example new research findings and further education opportunities. The e-newsletter also contains information about MSD and its various products. The information is intended for the addressee personally.

MSD will send the addressee each e-newsletter by email. The user has no legal entitlement to this service. MSD reserves the right to suspend or cease delivery of the e-newsletter without prior announcement. The user in turn may terminate their subscription to the e-newsletter at any time, usually by cancelling their registration under the menu item “Cancel e-newsletter registration”.

Links to other websites

Violation of these Terms of Use

MSD is entitled to take legal action against violations of these Terms of Use by you. In particular, MSD reserves the right to block or terminate your account at MSD. MSD also reserves the right to delete your account if its use violates applicable law. If your violation or activity carried out using your account causes harm to third parties, you are obligated to harmless MSD, in particular from any pecuniary loss, damage to property and costs, as well as from any legal claims or lawsuits. You are therefore obliged to keep any password secret and to ensure access to your account. MSD encrypts users’ passwords, does not disclose them to third parties and never asks users for their passwords by email or phone. MSD itself does not know the password and has no access to it. Your account is non-transferable. MSD supports the law enforcement agencies and enforces court orders requiring MSD to disclose the identity of a person who may have committed criminal acts in connection with MSD’s online services. You are obliged to inform MSD immediately if there are indications that an account is being abused by third parties.

These Terms of Use and your use of our online services are subject to Swiss law, under exclusion of Conflict of Laws rules.
