We volunteer for society and the environment

Each year, we have the opportunity to use up to 40 hours of paid working time for volunteer activities. One example is the Clean-up Days in Lucerne and Zurich, which we have been organizing for several years. In addition, we support many different non-profit organizations through volunteering efforts, including Bergversetzer, Velafrica, zuwebe, ConSol, Caritas, and Madame Frigo.

We are globally connected and locally rooted

As part of an international company, we benefit from a strong global network. At the same time, we are firmly rooted in Switzerland – with sites in the canton of Lucerne and in Zurich.

We operate a forensic laboratory in which suspected cases of counterfeit medicines are investigated

In Schachen, we operate one of three forensic laboratories worldwide with the aim of quickly detecting tampering and counterfeiting of MSD products. Our scientists use analytical methods and highly specialized instruments to distinguish counterfeit products from genuine ones and, when necessary, present the results in court as experts to support prosecutions. In addition, they work to continuously improve the anti-counterfeiting protection of MSD products worldwide.
